Overview
- This guide is intended for new clients to understand the Fulfilment flow.
- Certain data must be available for the sync process to work properly.
Pre-Connection Checks
Before your first integration is connected we need to make sure the following is in place.
- On your channel you must make sure all products have a SKU, or the products can not import. Think of the SKU as the connector between products on Fulfillable and your stores.
- If you are using more than one fulfilment provider - make sure you have relevant locations created in your store.
- Its a good idea to setup your shipping services and names on your website or sales channel before connection, this is so we can later map them.
Connecting
- When your store and/or sales channels have been connected your products will begin to sync to Fulfillable.
- At this stage EANs (Barcodes) must be entered for each product, either individually or in bulk via CSV. This is so we can identify the products when they arrive.
- Please note the first sync can take up to one hour for your products and orders to populate on Fulfillable.
Connection Facts
After the initial sync - data refreshes in the following intervals
- New orders sync every 15 minutes (Instant For Web-Hook Connections)
- New products sync every 60 minutes
- Stock syncs every 15 minutes
You can view the current sync status of your store/channel by navigating to Connect>Overview>View All Channel Connections
Courier Service Mapping
After connecting your channels its a great time to setup your courier service mapping. Courier service mappings are used to map the courier service name on your store to the actual courier service the order is being shipped on.
For Example
Your website has the service of "Express Next Day Delivery" we will use Courier Service Mapping to map this value to the actual value, in this example we shall use DPD Next Day.
1) To create mappings go to Shipping Management>Courier Service Mapping>Create New
2) Enter your stores shipping name and select the actual service.
3) Click the green "Add" button and order that come in with "Express Next Day Delivery" will now be mapped to "DPD Next Day Parcel" as per the example.
Getting Items From Your Supplier To The Warehouse
- Purchase Orders (These are optional, Purchase orders are for sending to your supplier to let them know the goods you require) - Guide Here
- Create your first ASN (These must be filled out for each shipment sent to us) - Guide Here
We recommend using both Purchase Orders & ASNs for the simple reason that POs can be turned into ASNs meaning you only need to fill in the data once. However if you wish to do your purchasing using an external system you can use ASNs only.
The Check In Process
Once your ASN has arrived to a Fulfillable warehouse our team will begin checking and placing your items into your live inventory. This means you will be able to see your product quantities live on your Fulfillable Dashboard under Products>Overview. Your sales channels will be automatically updated with your available stock figures.
